Hey, how do I go about buying the equipment to make this happen? And where can I learn more. I also have questions like enabling remote start thru this setup? And if I’m following along properly you have it now to where the most us wirelessly connects it all to your phone? I would like a coplete list of what all I need to purchase to make this happen. My xc 90 is one of my dream cars. I’m also looking into a aftermarket transmission. Then next year a engine rebuild and boom I’ll have a bulletproofed updated straight 6 twin turbo!!
Hi, the wireless connection isn’t a thing. You can plug into the phone via usb C and it acts as a soundcard to play audio. A bit niche, not much use for that really. However it will act the same way on an Android HU, or a Raspberry Pi (Android compatibility seems quite hit and miss so far, it seems vastly dependant on the manufacturer).
I don’t think remote start would be MOST based, it’s a highly critical thing, and MOST bus is not designed for that.
The MOST network is mainly used for audio, and also communication of values that are usually displayed on the screen, temperature, speed, parking sensors etc etc
